A general member is any individual with spina bifida, or immediate family of any individual with spina bifida. 2008 Associate Membership Form An associate member is any individual (or entity within which an individual is designated for voting purposes) who supports and/or promotes the purposes of the SBA.
2008 Professional Membership Form A professional member is any individual (or entity within which an individual is designated for voting purposes) that provides service or support to individuals with spina bifida or their family. SBATSR Members are eligible for: Special Medical Needs Fund Provides financial assistance to members for extraordinary non-reimbursable medical costs, annually.
Consumer Council Member/volunteers provide SBATSR with insight and direction for planning programming and services responsive to the needs of individuals with spina bifida and their families.
Insights into Spina Bifida Newsletter Published by the SBA National Office 6 times per year plus SBA national membership.
Discounts For conferences, social activities, and special events.
